Analog Devices has the industry’s largest portfolio of D/A converters ranging from 8 bits to 24 bits. ADI DACs are unmatched in their ability to deliver performance and value by providing accurate and reliable conversion for a range of applications including industrial automation, programmable logic controllers, optical transceivers, data acquisition, and more. Our portfolio includes integrated output amplifier options for ease of use, dynamic range DACs for multicarrier generation over a very wide bandwidth, and a variety of other digital to analog converters to suit your design needs.
Digital Potentiometers (DigiPOT)
Analog Devices portfolio of digital potentiometers provide uncompromising performance across a wide range of industrial temperatures. Sometimes called digital pots, RDACs, or digiPOTs, these compact devices can be used to calibrate system tolerances or dynamically control system parameters. DigiPOTs such as the AD5123 and AD5143 offer a nonvolative solution for 128-position/256-position adjustment applications, with low resistor tolerance and the low temperature coefficient simplifying open-loop applications and those that require tolerance matching.
High Speed D/A Converters ≥30MSPS
ADI high speed (≥30MSPS) DA converters include wideband radio frequency, intermediate frequency signal processing, and general-purpose baseband classes. These products are employed in wired and wireless communications, instrumentation, radar, electronic warfare, and other applications. Our portfolio of high speed DACs range from 30 MSPS to multi-GSPS with resolutions ranging from 8 bits to 16 bits. Our DACs are fully supported with complete data sheets and evaluation boards to reduce time to market and system design costs. These DACs are recommended for use with ADI’s clocking and timing products, as well as RF products and power management.
Integrated/Special Purpose D/A Converters
Analog Devices offers integrated/special purpose D/A converters, including A/D and D/A converter combinations used in general system monitoring and control applications, as well as direct digital synthesis, which is in demand for radar applications.
Precision D/A Converters
Precision digital-to-analog converters (DACs) are critical data conversion components for high-performance signal processing systems. Analog Devices has the industry’s largest portfolio of DACs covering 8 to 20 bits in resolution, best in class performance, smallest footprint, lowest power, and ease of use features. These features provide a simple design-in solution for the most challenging of biasing and control applications from component right through to signal chain level. A comprehensive suite of design-in support is available for all components from evaluation boards to LTSpice simulation.
